The story
For three centuries, the Mughals shaped northern India with gardens built as images of paradise, tombs of white marble and court kitchens that gave India its richest cuisine. This journey follows them from the lanes of Old Delhi to the Taj Mahal at first light, with the historians, cooks and craftsmen who keep their world alive.
